My favorite way to explain human wisdom is, "learn from someone else's mistakes."
Of course, that's my own definition...
I recently heard someone say that one should record all the good ideas that one has in order to pass it on to one's children.(one, one, one) This includes:

1. How to do something efficiently
2. How to treat people
3. How to think about or view something
4. What to do when...

I know there's more to this list, but what the heck.

So, if you would like to see particular bits of wisdom on this site or would like to add some of your own, leave a comment and I'll make it a permanent post...if it's truly wise.
